The design of RT2880 SoC combines 2T3R (2 Trasmit 3 Receive) MAC/BBP and MIPS CPU, can boost CPU efficiency to the original applications running in IP STB, Digital TV, VOIP Gateway, xDSL/Cable modem, DVR, Digital Media Adapters, and multi-media gateways. New products include 2.4/5GHz dual-band (WMIR-270N) and 2.4 GHz single-band (WMIR-269GN) Mini-PCI modules.
